COLLABORATION WITH AVELINA DE MORAY
Another great satisfaction is added to the many others HIS INFERNAL MAGAZINE already hit: the Australian professional photographer Avelina De Moray contacted us, offering her collaboration and the permission and disposability to publish, through our magazine, her wonderful pictures and great artwork creations.
Who is Avelina De Moray? The mere definition of “Photographer” is not enough and simply reductive if with this term we define a professionist who represents reality through a mechanic device.
Avelina is an artist, in the full meaning of the term, because the camera in her hands has a transformation and becomes something that captures the soul of what it represents, the magic of what is impressed in the image.
Then the serious face of the ones who sing or play, the lights and atmosphere created by a song, by a particular musical moment, take life and are animated through the play of the chiaro-scuro, the zoomed pictures or the perspective of the backlighting: the camera becomes the equivalent of the brushes for a painter, of the keyboard that plays with words for the writer.
The pictures Avelina took at HIM's gigs, when Venus Doom tour reached Australia and landed in Sydney in March 2008 talk about all this; as they talk about passion and emotion the picture taken to Nightwish, Bullet for MyValentine, Avenged Sevenfold, Sebastian Bach, Opeth, Marilyn Manson and many more.
Music and photography, two great passion that can't not find us in deep sintony with this creative and versatile artist, who knows how to put her strength inside projects and ideas that we would be happy to sustain and advertise through our magazine.
Thanks to Avelina for being so faithful in us, for the sympathy and appreciation she has given to us, for her contribute with the entire interview to Ville and Mige that has taken place in Sydney on March 25th 2008 , she had with her fiance Von Lehmann and that has kindly been given in exclusive to our magazine.

EDITORIAL
MUSIC IS THE ONLY THING THAT COUNTS:PASSION, FRIENDSHIP, ANTAGONISM
“Thanks to music passions can enjoy themselves” Frederich Nietzche wrote: few expressions of human mind succeed in being such involving and totalizing as music.
For the ones who live it in first person, composing or playing an instrument, it’s like giving wings to their own self, to the most true part that is a musician, and it perhaps is, even a damnation until when, prisoned into mind and heart, can’t find the right spot from which take its fly into a melody .
For the ones who simply “use” it’s an incredible emotional experience: to cradle our own thoughts with the rhythm of a guitar, of a piano, listen to a voice that intones words speaking to our heart, succeeds in relaxing us, to transport us upon the wave of memories, of feelings that everyday’s life risks to adoze. When a musical passion is shared, becomes a precious treasure; it’s so good to keep in common the feelings, to live together with other people these shivers and happiness that a just bought cd or a video are able to give us.
The whole story becomes more exciting when we have the possibility to enjoy a live show, or to follow on tour the band we love.
Those are unforgettable moments, because the heartbeat, the emotions, the feelings we feel, in the moment our beloved are onstage, we live them together with the band but with the ones who are feeling the same things next to us, who understand what we feel and share it with us; and then a gig is not just a show, but it becomes something deeper and involving, that will be the companion with nostalgia of our days and that , every time we could, we would repeat it.
Together.
And together doesn’t mean that, once in front of that stage, or, for some lucky reason, we have the chance to meet the frontman or some band member, we start a fight to get a picture, a greeting, a sight. Even worse it gets when people get to arrange persecutions and chasing, without any respect for the privacy, without considering that on the stage, or even in a bar or in the streets, in that moment there is a person, with feelings, ideas, and with the reasonable will to live his own private life.
“He’s an artist and then he has the duty to take a picture with me, I am a fan of him!”, and then it doesn’t matter if that person wants to pass a quiet night with the company of an old friend; the most canny has a clear strategy, she grabs him with an excuse and the picture is done, it doesn’t matter if the object of her desire is unhappy and doesn’t hide it, it’s another picture to show into their own collection, to show to their own friends on the blogs or through the Internet.
This is just an example, but it comes to a question how much has this behaviour got to do with love for music; yes, because the usual sentence you hear from those big mouths is : “Music is all that matters!”, something that sounds strongly stereotyped , seeing the behaviours are clearly conflictive.
And then the pleasure that could come from a gig risks to become a war what and above all who? Perhaps that pleasing sensation that comes from being near, even few minutes, to our idol, and until all this can be controlled and remains into some limits, it’s a lawful desire.
When all this becomes obsession, when it’s the base to start fights without fair play between forums, blogs and fanclubs, when we are willing to beat people to get in the front row, we lose not just the beauty of music, but even all what it could represent: friendship, travels, connection with other people, sometimes even far away, but that reunite them in these occasions to share their passion.
